This is just from what I've read on the 'net....

- Sherwood, Yamaha, and Cambridge Audio introducing their 1st Blu-ray players

- Cambridge Audio releasing $400 DAC with USB input and upsampling for PCM

- Panasonic introduces 130 watts/channel SA-BX500 home theater receiver with HDMI 1.3 inputs (no mention of DSD decoding or whether it's digital-amped)

- Sony demostrating 400-disc Blu-ray changer

- Infinity is back in the high-end with $6,000/each flagship model

- Marantz introduces two(!!) 2 channel stereo-only SACD players

- McIntosh is also introducing 2 new SACD players....a $6,500 model and a "budget" $4,500 model

- KEF launching entry series speaker series

- Boston Acoustics launching flagship Vista series speakers (thread exists on this forum)

and, of course, Sony's SCD-XA5400ES SACD/CD player (is the display an indication of the software situation? :D )

From other pictures I saw I thought the Sony was going to be a good looking unit, but that's butt ugly.

The Mac doesn't look too good either. McIntosh products must have large blue meters and lots blue lights.:D
