Buddy Guy is at the top of my list as "old guard" blues player. We have a local guy here "Pistol Pete" who plays in the styles of Buddy Guy, Hendrix and SRV. He plays quite a bit in Chicago too as well as at Buddy Guys Legends Club.

Anyone who hasn't checked out Buddy Guy DO IT!!!!

I have a recording of him at the Checkerboard Lounge with Albert Collins and it effing RAWKS.

I just saw Buddy Guy up at Hampton Beach a few weeks ago. He was fantastic. Amazing energy considering his age.
