Well......my PSW120 just isn't doing it for me!
Now either I'm doing something wrong or a 8' just isn't the ticket.
It seems to be easily "fuzzed" when I adjust it down it just don't seem to have the punch I'd like.

I'm sure many of you are gonna tell me that a 8" is my problem.
I can't have some big boehmoth cuz my room is only 10 1/2 x 14 FT.

My guess is I hafta have a 10" and something that pushes at least 100-150 watts.
I miss my old Velodyne CT-100 but it was pretty big for my space.
My receiver does have crossover adjustments for the sub as well as what the sub has.

Bottom line I don't want a huge piece of furnature and I don't have a WAD to spend.
So many jerk off brands floating around and I've been out of the loop for 9yrs.
Do I really need a powered sub?
Maybe some of you can shed some light?

I have a Polk PSW111, which also is an 8". Works pretty well for my size room(12x18), but just did not have the power and punch I wanted. I wanted to stay small, so I tried a Velodyne Minivee. Wow!! Big difference. Of course it's more money, but if you can find one preowned, or a Sunfire HRS-8, you won't need anything larger, unless of course you want to go real low, or have a large room.

Yeah I saw the Minivee looks impressive but lil too rich for my wallet...Sunfire is up there too.
Hope to get lotsa feedback on this seeing how many of you have way more experiance in Subs than I do. :o:rolleyes:
