Best vertical positioning

Hello everyone!

I recently purchased the TSi200 for front left and right, the TSi100 for rear left and right, TSiCS20 for center, and PSW303 for my subwoofer, as well as the Yamaha HTR6140B. First, did I pick the right speakers? Will they work together well? They're going into a fairly small room (13x9). Second, do you guys recommend custom built shelves, wall mounts, or speaker stands for this setup? Space is an issue, so shelves or wall mounts would work best in my setup. If anyone recommends wall mounts, can you lead me into which ones will work with these speakers? Thanks!

I have an extremely similar set up as you, with the same front and rear speakers. My center is the cs10 and my sub is the psw110. To answer your first question, yes, they will work very well together. Your front and rear speakers are virtually identical, with the 200's just having the extra woofer obviously. The CS20 is made to go with the TSi series, so it will fit in perfectly. Subs tend to blend in pretty easy, but I'm not familiar with the 303. It should give you more than enough sound in a 13x9 room also.

In regards to the stands/shelves/mounts, it's up to you. The best listening position is at eye-level normally, about 4 or 5 feet off the ground. If you can get the stands built, that'd be great. Otherwise, setting them on a mount or shelf should work also. Unfortunately, my 200s are on the floor at the moment due to space constraints and my wife wishing to not have tall speaker stands. But it still sounds great.

I know the TSi100's come with a wall mounting bracket. If you can find studs in the wall that are in ideal locations for speaker postioning...That is an easy option. If you go with that option tell me how it turns out because I am thinking of doing the samething.

Can I lay the Tsi200 on their sides ? They'll be on top of a 6 ft' high, 12ft. wide Entertainment Center, pointing down slightly. 12ft. throw to listening position.
