What a great three days this was. Not just for America, but for golf. Golf at time gets a little stodgy for me, but when you can see these guys show some real genuine emotion, well it was just great to watch.

Anthony Kim, JB Holmes, and Boo Weekly really garnered some well deserved press. When golf seems to be all about TW, to see these guys in the spot light, and gaining some real valuable experience, that may lay down a foundation to help them over come the Tiger effect on the final day of a major championship.

Kim really got me going today though. He played so incredibly awesome. It was just a fantastic show of golf from him. And what Kenny Perry did at the age of 48 it really was remarkable. He just buried putt after putt today. I really have not witnessed a golfer that hot with a putter in a long time.

the lack of sportsmanship was a real turn of for me. I mean when the crowd cheers when a ball goes in the water, that's not cool

Westwood was furious afterwards about the crowds, got to be said I thought that they were by and large ok, but he said people said things to him that were outrageous. Could have been the whole Monty scenario though where he says something that makes it worse and they wind him up.

Amazing how hard JB hits it.

I've watched a lot of Ryder Cup golf in my day and I thought this was an impressive outing by both sides. The young guys on the American side stepped up and took it, as opposed to watching people throw it all away and limp home. Weekly, Mahan, Kim, and Holmes all played without fear. The putting on the American side was outstanding. I was really happy to see Perry come through, he's such a nice guy. I think Faldo made a serious error. The US needed 5 points and he put those for out starting at the 9th match, so 8 points on the table before that which included an out of form Garcia and Casey who did not make a put all week.

Can't wait for Wales in 2010.
