I love everything about this show.....and this season is supposed to get it back to the intensity that season 1 was where EVERY episode ended and you couldn't wait for those 167 hours to pass until you got another episode.......
It' back, for 3 hours total tonight, and my phone better not fuckin ring or so help me God............ :D

Yep, one of my faves. I had to tape it because I wasn't home in time to catch the entire thing. Probably catch up and watch it this weekend.

I love everything about this show.....
Everything?
Don't get me wrong, it's a great show, but it's definitely let me down a few times; the first season finale sucked ass, and last season was a definite drop in quality.
The premiere was pretty great though, hopefully they're back on track, and actually can manage to follow through on some of the build-up.

The writers strike made me realize that I really don't miss this show at all. I liked it when it first started, and therefore felt obligated to see the end of the story line, but after the forced break I just don't care anymore.
I hope for your sake it's back to what it once was though.
My must see show these days is House. God I love that show.

I've seen it a couple times and it looks very interesting, but I really only have time to watch one show. I choose nip/tuck, which premiers Oct 30th.

Is it just me or does the show kinda suck this year?

It's not you. It's getting worse and worse. I got sucked in by the premiere because, well, it was the premiere, I expected it to be kind of frenetic. But now it's just shown itself to be one of the laziest shows in history. They've played with time travel and healing so much that no one can die and no actions have consequences. The characters are all caricatures of themselves, and make decisions that no rational person would make just to further the ridiculous plot of the moment.
Not to mention that maybe 10% of the cast can act their way out of a paper bag.

I would imagine you're right. I finally tried to start watching this season the other day and couldn't even get myself to watch past the first 10 minutes of the season premiere. Within that time you have a stand off between a "Hero" that can do damn near anything and a little girl who does hardly anything. Then he teleports into some conference, where the "hero" that can turn invisible grabs a coat and hat to disguise himself while he shoots his brother. Then when the little-miss-heels-alot wants to be with her shot father, suddenly big bad Peter can't teleport to California to get her.
I'm sorry but this show is so damn full of holes I can't stand it anymore.

I actually like what's going on. The premier was a little flat, but a lot of the issue is trying to get back on track after a year long chop due to the strike. I think Monday's episode was better than the previous 2, so I'm looking forward to seeing where they go.......The only problem I see so far is introducing too many new Heroe's too quickly where they detract from the core of the show.......but we'll see.
Just like I feared, this is turning into another Twin Peaks. Great show at first, then the plot gets so complicated and weird that is starting to lose interest. Hopefully they'll turn it around and get a good storyline going.

Not you. I deleted the DVR timer after watching the first 10 minutes of this season's premiere. I've completely lost interest in the story. I think all the time traveling really just pushed me over the edge.

It's you, I'm digging the story, I'm digging everything about it. It's one of the top 3 shows on tv in my opnion. I like Sara Connor alittle more or about the same. It's close.

I like heroes as well, it has been great. Dont let the means justify the ends. Just gotta let things settle in a bit. Shows can not be written like a book where things are definative, just enjoy it for what it is. Whatever captivates you, let it ride, its the anticipation that brings back viewers, can not be cut and dry. The more you anticipate and it does not happen, you could get disappointed, but you still want more. The aim is not a 3-4 season show, else it would be a 2 hour movie.

so far I haven't been impressed with Heroes enough to watch to keep watching it. I'll watch is a bit more.. but I'm about ready to drop it from my regular viewing.
