i am in desperate help here guys, trying to post my WRX f/s via internet and tri-state auto shopper mag, problem is i cant post the darn pic to save my life, i went thru the steps and its still not allowing me to..i think the problem is from not setting the color to RGB, which i cant figure out how to do..im pretty sure i have followed all the other requirements :

# The recommended resolution (height/width) for your photos is 640x480.
# The maximum allowable file size for each image is 2048 KB (Broadband Users).
# The maximum allowable file size for each image is 500 KB (Dial-up Users)

if anyone could shed some light on how to go about this color change, i'd appreciate it..btw im using HP Photosmart Premier which is pretty basic in adjustment

here is the pic

Have you checked the screen/print size? It looks as though they are cropping the image on the front for some reason. Most imaging software will allow you to adjust the pixels (640x480) without necessarily actually adjusting the screen size of the image. If that is so, you should also now be able to adjust the screen size without further reducing the number of pixels. To check the "true" current size, there should be an option somewhere in the "zoom" menus to show actual size (no + or - zoom).

Your software should also have options for modifying the image to JPG (JPEG) format. This may be in the image adjustment menus, the color adjustment menus and/or the "save file as" options.

Maybe somebody with experience of your HP software will chime in if you are still not able to figure it out.

That copy there should upload no problem. It's well under their recs for size. Are you trying to upload that one, or forgetting and going with the original.
Also, Google has a freeware graphics app, Picasa that does the basics.
