better sub psw111 or 110

I am new to this game and need help with what sub to use in a 12x20 room with one doorway 6' wide looking for good clean deep bass:

upgrading receiver to onkyo
monitor 70's
cs2
monitor 40's
sony 12' powered sub

any suggestions would be awsome!

The PSW 125 is a nice sounding 12 inch sub and can be had cheap.

I recently purchased the psw110 (to go with my tsi200s and my cs10) and I'm extremely happy with it. I tested the 110 and 111 side by side on multiple occasions at Best Buy and opted to go with the 110 because it seemed to produce deeper and louder bass than the 8" psw111. The 111 has 100 more watts, but when turned up very loud, the 110 still produced more bass to fill a room. My living room is 25x12 and I don't believe the smaller 111 would've given me enough kick. It puts out great sound for an 8" sub, but it's probably better suited for a smaller room.

Since you are pretty much putting together the exact same setup I have, I would recommend the PSW125 as leroy suggested. I got mine from CC for $250 (before warranty) and it is a great sub for the price. Which Onkyo receiver are you looking at? I just got the TX-SR806 and am blown away by what it does/is capable of doing for under $1,000.

PSW110 would be better for your application. It is a little larger but has much more authoritative low bass response. This is one of the reasons we now provide the CEA2010 (Loud and Low) Spec for our subwoofers.

PSW125 is even better:

Hope i dont get in trouble for this because I love my polks but you might check into bic h100 you can get it for 229 shipped and it goes down to 24hz compared to the psw 110 that goes down to 38 hz.

Guess I will get into trouble with you. Many choices and many opinions on whats good. I am running 2 Outlaw EX's with 12" woofers, 350 watts each, and they get down to 16 hz. No matter which one you choose it will be a improvement and put a big smile on your face when you get the first real kick from it.
