K & K Audio LL9206 step up transformer. MINT CONDITION LIKE NEW.

Completely burned in. Under 10 hours of actual use.

This step up transformer is perfect for low output moving coil cartridges and adds 20 db of dead quiet gain.

Mates with any phono preamp or full preamp that has a moving coil and / or moving magnet stage. Also excellent for preamps that only have a moving magnet stage. Ideal for preamps that don't have enough gain or preamps that get noisy from setting the gain high for a very low output moving coil cartridge.


The transformer is set to look like a 100 ohm load to a moving cartridge. You just set the load on the preamp to 47K in the event of a moving coil stage. Moving magnet stages are typically already set to a 47K ohm load.
