Since the M50 have a lower -3dB limit of 57Hz, I'm guessing 80Hz would be best ... you could try 60 (or 70, if your receiver has an intermediate setting), but it seems a bit too close for comfort (the crossover is a gradual curve, not an "on" or "off" thing, so it's not usually advisable to set the crossover point too close the speaker's lower limit) ... only listening will tell what you prefer. I would use the receiver settings rather than the subwoofer (and turn the subwoofer crossover all the way up, although it should be bypassed anyway if you use an LFE connection). Also start your adjustments with the volume knob on the subwoofer around the 9 or 10 o' clock position (less than half, on an analog scale).
