Connecting 2 subs

I am playing around with different connection configurations for 2 subs. I have connected a PSW350 to the LFE of rec. and a M&K sub to the pre-out mains of rec. using the subs crossover ( Mains set to large in bass management).
Now, I want to compare to using strictly the LFE off the receiver by connecting both subs to the LFE. The Polk sub has a single LFE input but the M&K sub only has l/r inputs( no LFE input). What is the best way to split the signal to the subs from the receiver's LFE?

You need a high quality Y adapter. You can split the signal coming from the recievers LFE or you can daisy chain. Meaning useing the OUT on one of the subs run that one to the IN on the other sub. If a sub has a L and R then u can choose to use a Y adapter at that point also. I read that many NEWER sub manufactures are saying when running muiltiple subs - to split the signal directly coming out of the reciever and then to each sub.

If I split the signal at the rec. LFE with one input going to the Polk and the other I need to split again or? ( I know it will work connected to the left or right on the M&K sub but don't I need to connect to both for optimal output)

If the sub has a right and left input - we all agree that it will yeild better output using both. So use another splitter for that purpose.

I have Monster Y's. The first couple pair of bass cables I bought - they came with them. The others I got from my local retailer were also Monster and catalog for about $15.
