This is another general question from a relative newbie to the mix. I have the LSIC and the LSI9's. Are the two 5 1/4 drivers for different frequencies or do they get the same signal sent to both???
The reason I ask is because it seems that one driver moves a lot more air while the other does not seem to move much at all. Could I have defective speaks??? Thanks in advance for all your help.

Regards,
Nat

"Cascade Tapered Array" crossovers. One driver is crossed over much lower in frequency and is in essence a bass-only driver. Only one driver plays the upper midrange frequency range thereby eliminating the interference effects between the two drivers.

Driver 1: LPF at 200Hz 12dB/oct,
Driver 2: LPF at 2.4kHz, 12 dB/oct.
Tweeter: HPF at 2.4kHz 18dB/oct.
