I've been waiting for almost a year for 24. It was OK, but now I gotta wait two months for it to start back up again. Hell, I will have forgotten what happened in Redemption.

Was this on last night? I forgot too. I hope my DVR worked . . . I set it about two months ago.

It's up on Hulu (http://www.hulu.com/watch/45751/24-redemption#s-p1-so-i0) for those of you who missed it.

The DVD is also coming out tomorrow.

I haven't seen it yet, so no spoilers please, but for those of you who have seen it, was it any good?

Last night was a tough choice, watch 24 or watch my Colts play. Ultimately I chose the Colts and I'm glad I did, I figured worst case even if my DVR doesn't work for some reason I can still pick up the DVD tomorrow...

Not worth buying the DVD, IMO.

I'm sure lots of people missed it, though, or had hard choices to make. The show didn't appear to be marketed very well. Perhaps that was by design so people would have to buy the DVD. On a Sunday night during Football season? Hmmm...

I don't know about not being marketed well. Out here anyway every other commercial on Fox for the last month or so has been for this...

Oh, OK. I guess I missed all of those. If it's not announced on the Polk Forum, I probably won't hear about it.:(

My daughter & I watched and liked it. I, too, think they didn't do the usual standard saturation job of promoting it. Only reason I remembered was because there was a write up on it in our local paper.

At the very least, the show scratched a long suffering itch. It wasn't anything special, but certainly worth watching if you're a fan. I think the show has quite a challenge ahead. It seems that many have grown a bit weary of the usual formula: bad guy terrorists threaten/take over/blow something up and Jack comes to the rescue. The article I read suggests that the show will at least attempt to go in a bit of a different direction this year. Hope so.

I thought it sucked! Just my opinion which of course does not mean much.

Yeah, it's good to see the show going in a slightly different direction. I like the fact that the show is addressing a politically incorrect political issue, replete with cross-continental villians. 24: Redemption wasn't great, but it did one thing -- it picqued my interest enough for me to look forward to watching season 7, and encouraging others to do the same.

I just watched it on DVR. First time ever watching an episode of 24. I liked it and will DVR the season now.

I bet this was their intent, and if it was this is a great way to regain the audience that it might have lost because of the writers' strike.

Being a big 24 fan and watched every ep. since the start, I'd have to say it was ok, I just think it's kinda dumb when he's being shot at by lots of "bad guys" he's fine....then when it would get boring all I thought of was him behind bars (both types)
