looks good
Dwain,
I would say you are on the right track alright. Looks like you got a fairly decent home-theater rig shaping up there. Dont believe you choose anything wrong, Polk, Denon, Velo, great stuff!
Only suggestions I have is perhaps an upgrade to the tv.
It may also be worth checking into higher grade interconnects!
So far - so good...

A new tv is in the works but I can't decide on which brand to go with. I have looked at the pioneer elite series and mitsibishi. What would you recomend?

And what do you mean by interconnects.

wire, and the wire tips (ie the part that goes into the binding post...my guess...
I am not the TV man, I am afraid... I guess it all depends on what type of TV your looking for.....tube, projection, hdtv, plasma,...
Im sure someone else can make suggestions. I enjoyed JVC and Hitachi tubes.
Interconnect cables- are the cables that are used to link your DVD/CD player and the reciever.

I'm sorry to put your shoes out but RCA makes very nice and reliable TV's. Direct and projection. I know this first hand. That is why they cost a little extra but not insanly priced like Sony's.

I have a Mitsubishi 65" Very happy with it. I would also upgrade the Center Channel, but that's a personal preference.

I'll second the Mitsu and the Hitachi TV's.
Anyone got any opinions on the new Samsung TV equipment. I was floored when I saw the new Samsung 50" Widescreen DLP-HDTV Monitor at BestBuy the other day.
I got a nice new Samsung SyncMaster 191T LCD monitor for the PC that utterly RoCKs!
