Is my Subwoofer being hurt?

Hey.

I have a question.

I have a Klipsch SUB-12 subwoofer, and for whatever reason, when I play music and a movie or whatever for a decent amount of time, the back of it where the volume knobs, etc. gets really hot (the metal part).

Is that like, hurting my sub?

It's done it since day 1, and I just wanted to make sure. I don't know if I'm powering it too hard or something. :s

plate amps do get hot, so nothing to panic about. but curious, where is your volume on the sub (11:00, 12:00?)
