alpine type r subwoofers

i have 2 alpine type r subwoofers, 12" with dual 4 ohm coils. They are new, i installed them for 5 minutes, and took them out and back in there boxes.

You didn't like them?? I have a pair in my '89 IROC that sound great in a sealed box with an Alpine MRV-1507 old school amp.

i like my idq,s better, the r,s get way louder, but i think the idqs are more sq
