i have a emotiva xpa-5 amp bought new in may, only used for movies. The warranty is transferable..still has 4.5 yrs left on warranty. It will come with original box and papers. Also will include a new set of blue jean cables interconnects. Looking for 650.00 for amp and cables. Live near Tyler Tx, east of dfw, might be willing to meet if not to far.

yeah they are on sale, reason why im throwing in the cables, and another reason why i would like to sale locally, the shipping weight is around 90 lbs, and would cost around 85 bucks to west coast, so it wouldnt be worth it. The normal price on them is 799 plus shipping. I paid 838.00 shipped and 113.00 for the cables, so 650.00 is as low as i could go

I'd suggest pricing the amp without the cables and offering to ship it at the buyer's expense, especially if you have the original double box. But since it's tough to compete with $699 NIB with free shipping direct from the manufacturer through the end of the year, consider holding onto it until January '09.

Are you selling because you don't like the amp, or for another reason? The reason I ask is that I'm thinking about buying the 2ch. Emotiva amp and would like to hear some "feedback" on their stuff. :)Thanks,Geoff

emotiva stuff is great, and there customer service is next to none. This is my second emotiva amp, my first was the lpa-1. Im downsizing since my kids have married and gone, we dont watch movies much anymore, just going to use my onkyo 805 reciever for movie watching.

+1, or doing the MS Cashback via eBay thing.

mm28,wow, thanks for all the review links,I just wanted the opinion of a forum member too. I don't doubt the reviews posted at emotiva per se, but sometimes there's an agenda or other motives at play. The experiences of someone who's lived with an amp for a while, means just as much to me as a short term tryout by an audio reviewer. Thanks again! :)Geoff

Probably not...with how popular the EMO's have been lately...it probably got snagged up already. I may be wrong though.
