Both come with original boxes and all that good stuff. Both are in like new condition, very low hours.

Project TT has a Sumiko Blue Point #2 on it

Jolida JD9A is the tube phono preamp that goes with it.

I will include 2 pairs of Ben's RCA cables, one set for TT to phono preamp, one set for phono preamp to amp. I will also include the isolation blocks under the TT and the sorbothane pads under the phono preamp. The TT comes with the original clamp that came with it, the custom machined aluminum one you see in the picture is mine but possibly will be included.

I must say, this setup sounds freaking amazing. I'm going to be moving into a 1 bedroom small apartment near Boston so I just won't have the room for 2 rigs. I have almost $1500 tied up in these two items + cables. For now I will NOT ship them, $1150 cash takes them both.

http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/dd234/BaggedLancer/DSC01488.jpg

I will include a Belkin PF30 power conditioner that comes with original box as well for an additional $75.

As much as I don't want to sell all this, my personal vinyl collection is going into storage for the time being until I buy myself a house in a year or two.

That's a great combo right there. My first TT was the RM 5, and I have the Jolida phono pre (with level 1 upgrades) with my rig now. Great sounding unit.

Congrats on the move Mark!

Thanks Ricardo, haven't moved yet but it's definitely happening. I've visited a few places now it's a matter of deciding to move by myself or with a friend (1br vs 2br).

This is a killer vinyl setup for someone, especially with all the extras....it's ready to go. I MIGHT consider shipping it, but shipping is going to be expensive on 2-3 boxes of this size/weight. PM me and convince me. :)

I know you are moving to Boston, but where is that TT? That is one sweet setup! I think I am going to smash mine with a hammer now:p

I'm just outside Boston right now.

Ben's silver wires with the tube phono pre really is the perfect combination for this setup. The sound is just unreal. If anyone is in the area and wants to hear it, you're welcome to bring your vinyl by(so you can use your setup as a reference) or use mine.

DAMN! That is nice. Wish I had the moolah. Would you be willing to trade for a 2 week vacation here at my place Mark? Airfare not included of course. :p

BaggedLancer
12-04-2008, 07:01 AM
If airfare wasn't retarded expensive I probably would go on vacation. I've been trying to set up a trip to Europe for a year from now and airfare is tipping the $2k mark. Talk about a buzz kill on a vacation...

Keiko
12-04-2008, 06:16 PM
Keep an eye on fares Mark. I used to be an agent and from experience those fares generally come down within 30 days of departure. Used to be rules for advanced purchase on tickets. 21, 14 and 7 day. If your dates are flexible and you stay within the advance purchase requirements, you might find a good deal on airfare. It's been awhile since I played this game, but booking package deals with Hotels, even if you don't stay in one can save you money to sometimes.

BaggedLancer
12-05-2008, 06:57 AM
I'll keep an eye out on that. I'll add $200+ worth of vinyl of my choice(at LEAST 100 pieces) to whoever buys this table, phono preamp, and power conditioner.

Bump, let me know if anyone is interested. I could make arrangements to ship, but it's not going to be cheap. Especially if you want the $200 worth of free vinyl with it.

ben62670
01-25-2009, 04:41 PM
Yep. I thought I would hate having to clean the records... But after I got a decent TT alone time with the stereo has been more engaging. My TT is just a starter TT in the realm of vinyl. Some mods will be in order like a new platter, and better cartridge. Also I should get a speed control box or make one. $1 finds at Goodwill introduce you to music that you would never get on CD. It has been a blast.

Companies are now releasing both old and new material on vinyl and selling them at chains like Best Buy. Who here thought they would ever see that happen again?

I just can't believe this is still here. My first TT was the RM-5 (Not SE, which has some improvements), and I have to admit it sounded 90% of what my more expensive Clearaudio TT sounds.

BaggedLancer
02-22-2009, 01:18 PM
At this point just going to sell it as a full package. Once the table sells I have no use for the rest of the stuff. I'll leave it up to the buyer to sell/keep the extras. It's all too good of a price not to take the whole package.
