I've seen them range from $750 - $1000 on Audiogon, eBay, craigslist.

I would agree with Leroyjr. Nice amp. One of my three favorite from Adcom.

$850-1000 is the average when the market was a little better. Just really make sure to ask the right questions about condition and realize this tends to be a buyers market right now.

Great amp btw. On my short list behind a couple Nelson Pass models. The 5802 is essentially a Nelson Pass design too.

The 5800 was the one Pass was directly involved in. I'm not sure what changes were made in the 5802 other than eliminating the fan-forced cooling system, but that alone is probably worth the extra money.

Actually he was involved with the 5802 as well and it's very similar to the 5800 sans the forced cooling. Glad they decided to get rid of that feature too.

The GFP-750 (pre-amp) was basically and Aleph P with a few compromises to hit a price point. Very similar however in sound. The 750 and 5802 together are a formidable combo.
