I have one of these. Works like a charm. Also, it's controllable by the Harmony remotes.

there is not much lag, its not totally instant but no where near annoying

do you have to cycle through the inputs or can you select one directly? I'm more curious bc I would be using a harmony remote.

Harmony remote selects the pre-programmed input directly, w/o cycling.

So, can you have an HDMi input split to two outputs? (Blu-Ray in and split to both pre\pro (sound) and TV (sound\picture) for output?)

I think you'll need a matrix "switch" for that. Monoprice sells those too.

I have the 3 to 1 and no problems so far. Very little time lag and with the original remote I can switch to whichever input I want, not have to toggle thru them. Can't touch them for the $$$.
