I've got two ideas. First is the foambymail.com (http://www.foambymail.com/Wedge.html) cheap 2 inch thick foam. My buddy has a closet for vocals full of 1 inch and it actually worked. So I'm thinking about picking up 4 or 5 48x72 inch sheets and putting them up.

The 2nd idea is around my tv (behind my fronts and center) I will get three sets of curtains (one for each side one for the top. Since I dont have a lot of room I will be able to fold the curtains in half giving me twice the thickness. For this task I was thinking about using these thermal blackout curtains (http://www.amazon.com/Westport-BLACKOUT-Textured-Thermal-Curtain/dp/B000WELJ18/ref=reg_hu-wl_item-added).

So does anyone have experience using foam and/or curtains for treating reflections? I know the foam is legit if done properly but I've never seen curtains. I'm not sure these I found will do anything but remember, they will be doubled up so they are twice as thick behind the speaker. Plus it will be a nice shade of red to accent my black furniture.

Thoughts?

"look at that 's' car go!"

I haven't ventured into the treatments stage yet (although I probably should be on so many levels)... but I've seen curtains used all the time, especially in theaters (both live and movie)
