Good wire for surrounds?

I'm making a lot of decisions about new wire for my front pair. I'm a poor guy so my listening room is my living room and my 2-channel audio is my home theatre. lol. Anyway, in another thread I'm picking up a great many ideas about how to terminate some good wire I bought from Dave. Because it's a short run and I have the extra wire, I'm going to give the same treatment to my center.
Now, for the surrounds. I'm primarily a 2-channel music listener so i'm not going to run 30 feet of AudioQuest Type 4 wire to my surrounds but i am thinking the FXi A6 deserve something better than spliced 35 year old leftover sections from the Jenson install in my '66 Falcon.
I've got 28 foot runs. I'm thinking twisted pair at 12 or 14 gauge. I'm hoping below $1.50 a foot. Well below I hope. Do you guys know a wire and a quality supplier for a reasonable deal?

Blue jeans cable has 12 and 10 ga wire that is in wall rated for not alot of cash. Should be great for surround use.

Canare 4S11 comes highly recommended. Never used it personally, but it has great reviews. It's a twisted pair construction, and can be had for .96 a foot here. (http://www.performanceaudio.com/cgi/product_view.cgi?products_id=535)

People here talk so informally/are so familiar with their favorite products that I didn't put 2 and 2 together. I just spent 2 days and 10 or 12 hours surfing for 12 awg twisted pair for my 30 foot surround runs. I searched like hell for Belden but couldn't find anything. I followed another lead and went to Blue Jean Cable and discovered (this is too simple) that Belden is a brand name sold by Blue Jean. Doh. Perfect, 12 awg twisted pair and bloody reasonable too. I paid $45 after shipping for 70 feet of wire. Thanks a bunch my friend. Exactly what I wanted.
