I spent a Christmas counting my blessings. My lovely wife Maureen gave me the nicest card with a personalized message that brought me to tears. I think it was the nicest give that I ever received. Got a few gift cards, office uniform separates (ties, shirts, sweater, cufflinks, etc) I thrive off the love of my family. Shannon received and American Girl Doll (Molly), some CDs and DVD's. Maureen received some jewelery, hat/scarf and glove sets, gift cards, coffee.

Christmas eve my oldest daughter (26) and her husband, my youngest daughter (11 yrs.) were here with my wife Maureen, brother Kurt and brother Keith with his wife. My 23 year old niece, her boyfriend and my sister-in law. We had lots of food, jumbo cooked shrimps, cheese, crackers, veggie tray and the specialy of the house, the Carl nacho buffet!

Taco meat, Nacho cheese, freshly chopped tomatoes, sliced olives, jalepenos. chopped green onions, sour cream, cheese and crackers, cookies galore.Christmas day we just has my wife, daughter and sister-in law. Spiral cut ham, scalloped potatoes (from scratch), green beans, cake and ice cream. Back to the treadmill

Regards,

Carl

George,

The next time you head North to visit your wife's family, let get together for a couple of hours. PM me when you are headed this way.

Regards,

Carl

200+ hours on the tubes and it is smoking. Trust me, it will get better in a few months as well.

Sun Rise: 10:09 AM
Sun Set: 15:09 PM
Currently -31 °C (-24 °F)

The positive thing is we have passed the shortest day of the year so we are gaining daylight now.

Carl - sounds like a wonderful Christmas! I'm back here in IA at the farm with my daughter, my parents are back from AZ for a couple of weeks, and the extended family has been visiting the house. Family and friends is what it's all about!

Happy holidays to you and your family, Carl. It was raining all day Christmas day, but we have the in-laws gang spending the day with us, so it was pretty fun. Plenty of food as usual. May 2009 brings us peace to all.
