Hello all, I'm new to the forum.
I purchased a pair of Rti4's a few years ago, with the intention of eventually expanding into a full 5.1 setup. Having read the forums, it seems like the possibilities are endless.
If I decide to keep the Rti4's as my front speakers, what would you recommend for center/sub/surround speakers? My receiver is a harman kardon AVR 240.
Keep in mind I live in a tiny New York apartment and have modest needs for a small room.
Thanks for the help.

I would add another pair of RTi4 (or FXi3) and a CSi3, or you could get new RTiA series fronts and center and move RTi4's to surrounds.

I wouldn't use a CS2 center on that setup. It's not voice matched to the RTi's, and probably wouldn't be able to keep up with them. Plus if you wait a while you could get a CSi A4 for about the same price through Polk Direct.
I'd agree with the earlier post. Either get some FXi3'a and a CSi3, or move your Rti4's to surround duty, and get either some RTi A1's or RTi A3's for the fronts, and get a CSi A4 or CSi A6 for the center.

Are the RTi A1's and A3's worth the $150-$250 more than the Rti 4's?
Also, any sub recommendations? Keep in mind, this is for a small NY apartment living room.
Thanks!

If you're on a budget, I'd say go with the RTi4's. There wouldn't be that huge of an improvement with the A1's...their essentially the same speaker. If you looked around you could probably find a good deal on some RTi6's too.
What kinda budget for the sub?

Probably the $100-$150 range for the sub.
