Can someone point me in the right direction? Looking for two, and this will be going into the back of a Suburban. I don't play my music loud (Unless I need to show off) Ha lol. I'm willing to spend $200-$400 ea as long as it's worth it! I mostly listen to Hip-hop, Rap & R&B I'm reading alot about the SR subs giving good SQ but I'm also reading that they have issues and can fail. Has this problem been taken care of?. I'm looking to purchase which ever brand or model sub from Crutchfield because I like there warranty & Customer service so they need to be available from there. I appreciate the help thanks.

Ive had my SR 12 for a year now and it made it thru an entire competition season with no problems and SQ it may be but there are some judges out there that crank the hell out of the volume.

Id suggest either a single SR124 or a pair of the new MM 12's.

After Reading about the SR124 I think Im going to go with two of those. Any Idea on a good amp to run both on a 2ohm load?

Get a pair of SR124DVC's and run them off the new Polk PA1200.1 at 1 ohm. Should do the trick.

If you haven't already gotten them, I would also look at the Stereo Integrity Mag 12. They are a small business but the owner (Nick) is awesome and the customer service is top notch. The new Mag's that were just released are for sealed small boxes and low power. But they are incredibly accurate and will go really low. One of the best in terms of SQ in my opinion. $249 each shipped to your door.

What amp do you guys recommend for one SR104? I have an old Orion 275SX (old in years but it is actually Brand new, I never took it out of the box) It says that I can bridge it to one channel for 300 watts RMS. This ounds kind of low, but those Orion amps were underrated.

i would go for the alpine type X for sure it has amazing SQ and the ablilty to have SPL at higher volumes. and if looking more price friendly check out Soundstream's line they're awsome.

I am currently using a JL 12W6v2, it's a very nice sub. I also have an Alpine Type-X, this is also a very nice sub. I sometimes switch between the two. The Alpine hits those low notes with authority, and sounds very nice doing it. It does require some good power to get it going.

Other subs that I have really liked are the Soundsplinter RL-P12 & RL-i10, and the Arc Audio ARC-12.
