How much is good enough power for some Monitor 10's? Is 120wpc rms enough, or would I be crying for more? Correct me if I'm wrong, but you can't bi-amp the 10's can you?

Watts are a funny thing. 30 good watts is better than most 100 watt receivers. Look at HK's 2 channel receiver offerings for some realistic power ratings.

I feed mine a steady diet of Adcom 555II (200/channel), before that was a Denon AVR at 100 watts/channel. If pushed, (and who hasn't?) the sound with the Denon became sloppy, loose and all around 'ishy':(. The Adcom seems to hold it together much, much better.
But anything pushed too hard is a recipe for a rebuild, and a drain on the bank account.
Have fun with them, I do.

After hearing F1's 70W tube system recently, I'm convinced all watts
are not created equal. I may be a little off on that W#, but it was
somewhere around there. Gotta get me some tubes.
