Hey fellas, I came back today with a pair of white owm3's from HHGREGG because I just couldn't walk out of there without them at this price($88 bucks for the pair-brand new in box) and hooked them up for my rears in a 5.1 setup. I just got done with U-571 and I gotta tell you these little guys had me hearing all kinds of moans and creaks and pops that I never knew the submarine had. They more than hold their own with the big explosions, They really spread the sound out nicely behind me. I was very impressed even without the break-in period(maybe audyssey calibration helped!) Just running off Onkyo 606 with R30-front, and CS2 center. I hardly ever see reviews on these so here's my 2 cents. I have them corner mounted and they look very sharp on my wall. The versatility on the mounting options is something else. Anyway, I needed to get that out there. Very smooth blend into my system.

Hi dborzz,

The OWM3s are a pretty new series for Polk and they're designed precisely for the application you're using them--for flexibility in mounting, positioning, etc. They seem to be a good match for RM, M, TSI, and RTIs, I haven't heard them but I know a number of people who use them in the back who can't say enough about them.

I'm going to have to add you to that list. If and when I decide to actually add the last two speakers to my Onkyo 7.1 receiver, they will most likely be Owms.

GREAT price, BTW!

For sure cnh, so far so good, everything I've thrown at them sounds tremendous. I'd be willing to say that even at full price they would sound good!! lol I'm sure they sound extra special because of the deal I received!!!
