Can I drive a pair of LSI9s with my Denon 2808 on a dedicated 2 channel with 2 Mirage matched subs for music only and expect a wow or just good factor? I already have the HT set up with Warfdales and thats a wow factor but not a wow on music just good. Where can I take a listen in the DFW area?
Thanks all
Future plans are to add a tube pre-amp but that would be maybe 6 months to a year.

Welcome Olddog. You will only get a just good wow. However, that Denon has preouts, so instead of getting a tube pre focus on getting a SS 2 channel power amp. or 2 monoblocks. Get at least 200wpc @ 8ohms to get the most out of your LSI's.

Good choices are Outlaw Audio, Emotiva, Sunfire, B & K, Nad, Rotel, Parasound. You can get more bang for your buck getting one from Audiogon.
