well im running lsi25 with an avr 3806 receiver with the subs running off their own power...ive been told i need something better than the denon receiver to run these though i think im running enough to them as is....what do you think?

They need more power. There are several other threads going with the same topic right now...I'd jump into one of those ones.

I learned the same thing and am very happy with the outlaw. It does have some hum issues that are easily fixed with a hum-x wall plug adapter.

More power! Those 25's are power hungry. You don't have to spend alot of money. Do a search on here it's been talked about to death. Find a good used amp at least 125wpc but the more the better. The sound would be much better and your speakers will be safer.
