I don't really know which to go for. I know that the RTi A5's are a step up in terms of the line. But the TSi500's have 4 6.5 woofers. It seems like the TSi's would have much more mid range just because of that.
Here's my setup, and music likes. If anyone can tell me which one I should go with, I would really appreciate it. There is nowhere close to where I live, where I can hear either speaker.
Denon 1909 AVR(should have went up a couple models, but am new to this)
Polk rm8 sides and rear.(for now, they actually sound pretty good though, for their size, no mids)
Either the csi a4 or cs 20 center.
PSW 111 sub (it's plenty loud enough for my room)
I play games mostly, but watch blu ray, and any movie with a decent soundtrack on this system. As far as music goes, I like tool, pearl jam, alice in chains, pretty much anyone that came out in the 90's and was"grunge". My music is really midrange driven. Without good mid bass it isn't even worth listening to.
What I guess I'm wanting to know is, will the RTI's sound better just because I am stepping up a line, or will twice the speaker sound better with the TSI's.
