LSiC left driver

There is no sound coming from the left driver of my LSiC.

There is sound coming from the right driver and from the tweeter.

I also checked for vibrations and it's hard to say. For sure if there any vibration in the left driver is much less than the one coming from the right one. I don't if it is a "reflection" of the vibration coming from the right?

I read several post about issues with the LSiC and some of them indicate that it is normal for the left driver to have a "lesser role." But shouldn't you at least get some sound from it?

What are my options?

It's a cascade tapered array, the left driver is only for low frequencies(200hz and below).

Check your speaker configuration. I obtain the best results from the LSiC by setting it to "Large" on my AVR. In other words, send it all frequencies.

My set up is 4 x LSi9 (fronts and surrounds) and a LSiC.

In my NAD receiver I ahve set up al speakers to SMALL.

The receiver does not allow me to change just the center to LARGE.

Run everthing set to large then. The lsi 9's will be alright setting them to large.

Some do prefer the LSi9 as a center.

Set all your speakers to large, drive the sub with the front pre-amp outputs. Listen to it for a while and decide which way sounds best in your setup.

By the way I have a spare LSi7 that I bought in a Tweeter liquidation.

I have read in this forum about using the LSi9 as a center. I might try this as I don't mind using the LSi7 as a surround.

Any issues with placing the LSi9 horizontally?
