I need a bose 901 series 1 or series 2 equalizer...I have a pair of series 1 bose 901 speakers and am told that I need the equalizer...the series one equalizer probably just says bose 901 equalizer. Please email me at asmith1@dadeschools.net. Thanks in advance !!

BOSE speakers for whatever reason are not well regarded here. I actually like bose products and have found them to be quite good. they work well as paperweights or in the case of the 901, can be used to hold a door open or as a target on a firing range, but for music i think I would rather listen to Rosanne Barr sing again

The equalizer was an option when they were new. I do not think you have to have it.

The 901 was not a bad speaker. It had great midrange, but like most Bose speakers had weak highs and muddy bass.
