It was time for a change, and these were replaced 2 months ago by a pair costing twice as much. I held on to them this long before letting them go. You can search the thread in 'Speakers' where I compared them to the Dynaudio 140's. I'll say they are a happy 8 on the Agon scale. I can't really find anything on the lacquer and I tried to get a shot of what looks like minute scratches on the ebony panel, but it looks like it is part of the grain/below the surface. One also arrived from shipping with a small crack around the plastic of one support leg of the power port. There is a pic of that too. Any swirly looking stuff on the pic with both, is a reflection of the window in front of it. These are the newer version for those that can't tell. I'll give them a few days then post them elsewhere as well. $495 + actual shipping in original box with some reinforcements. Pickup in Boston area is great, shipping is fine, or I can drive up to 50 miles to meet you.

If you have are interested, please post in the thread first, then PM. Thanks.

I suspect it's the bad economy because this is a great deal. If I had $500 to spend on speakers, this would be it.

This is a great deal! I have some Lsi9s that I may be selling in the next month or two as I'm moving to a place that won't have room for Lsis, and I'll be pricing mine much higher!

There are also in great shape, much better than mine. Can't see why no one is biting. Everyone is broke, I guess. . .

SKsolutions - thanks for location information. I thought I had read all posts thoroughly, but obviously missed your earlier reference to Boston. I will give this some thought this weekend and let you know if I would like to consider purchase early next week. PSOVLSK - I wouldn't ask SKsolutions to hold speakers for me as I'm not certain if I want to pursue purchase. If you purchase them before I decide - no issues at all.

Price is fair, and less that any recent sale on ePray. They are mint except for the small crack in the back. . .which I hear is natural and somewhat preferable :o . The 'scatches' aren't really scratches, but appear to be some sort of finishing agent that has turned opaque. I didn't even let the cleaning lady dust these, so I can't imagine what they are.

Still available here at this price, but Listed elsewhere as well, sorry-- these gotta go . . .the 18 year old requires some wheels to find some work, so they are being sacrificed to the cause.

This is a very nice price for speakers, but I'm going to pass at this time. I needed to make a choice between another set of speakers - or pursue another power amp for my system in bonus room. After a lot of thought - I'm leaning towards the power amp. Good luck with your speakers, as this is a very good price compared to other LSI9's listed for sale at other sites.

The speakers arrived in perfect shape Friday. Got them hooked up Saturday and moved my LSi 7's to the rears. Now to find time to watch a movie:)

If you ever see SKsolutions selling, buy with confidence. I feel like I got new speakers that were already broken in. Thanks again Sean.

I felt like a nervous parent, watching them take their first trip, cross country no less. . I'm glad that they made it unscathed, and that they look new. That's a "happy 8/10" :o,
Paul, thanks for a perfect sale here in the FM.
