I don't have any experience with MIT's, but the boxes go at the end of the signal path as far as I know. In your case, the boxes should be at the amp.
Don't quote me on that though.

The arrows indicate the signal direction. In your case, the arrows go towards the amp.

Jesse, the AVt2 interconnects aren't marked to indicate direction. The long end is the source side though.

Are there arrows inside the cables, so the signal doesn't lose it's way?:D:p

My MIT cables have a barely clothed, homeless man hustling my signal flow like a NYC 3 card monte dealer. I'm thinking of getting rid of him since he takes up so much room....and he's started urinating behind my rack.

The network boxes go with the signal flow....in your case, towards the amplifier.

These guys are all correct. I actually called MIT when i got my AVt-2 IC's and asked them this same question, because like you, i was unsure.
Enjoy your MIT's! :D

There should be arrows on the sleeve that is at one end of the cable. Whichever direction the arrows are pointing, that is the signal flow. In other words the arrows should point away from the preamp and towards the amp. If for some reason there are no arrows then the end with the network boxes closest to them should go on the target side.

TOOLFORLIFEFAN,
Did you happen to grab any of the AVt-2 speaker cables that Greg was selling?
Awesome, awesome cables! I've got my whole front stage wired with them, huge improvement over the 16ga walmart crap i had.

No i didn't, right now my whole front end is wired with Audioquest,i have the Diamondback IC's,and the Type 4 Speaker wire.they kick ass as well. this weekend i am going to put the MIT's in and give them time to break in,and see if i see an improvement. the price was right on the MIT's to give it a shot.
