Hummmmm a Home Theater PC......interesting!!
Anyone else know anything about this?
Only really practical for the true videophile I'd say.
Touch screen and all.

No HDMI? Outside of that, pretty snappy looking.

That thing is about 2 years behind... You could build one for under $500.
My year old laptop has FAR better specs, HDMI out and a Blu-Ray player... Oh, and it cost about $250 less.
If you start adding to it to make it worth anything, it's nearly $3,000.

With BR drives at $120 that can play DVDs. HDDVD's, and BR an HTPC is becoming more of a viable option. I am going to go this route. It doesn't cost an arm and a leg to build a very good HTPC anymore. New audio cards pass HDMI v3.1 now so you can now enjoy full benefits of the new media. BR burners are down to $230. Make sure you read up on these if you are looking to go HTPC.

Those cases are $429-529???
You can get good HTPC cases for around $160 with no display.
I recently picked this up: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129055

It runs much quieter and cooler than my other cases. It's only drawback is the fan switches are on the rear.
