Has anyone heard of these guys? Its interesting to see on their website all the upgrades and modifications they do on HT electronics. For instance, they have $800 in upgrades for Oppo players. I was thinking to send my Denon and Sony DVD/Blu-ray in for some tweeking. Any thoughts?

Yeah.I tried to order a pair of opamps from that guy TWICE and he never billed my card or sent any reason as to why he didnt process the order or anything.....Try musical concepts instead. You can even call them and all your questions will be answered.Ask to talk to john hillig. He can mod anything..Link.. http://www.musicaldesign.com/

Thanks fbm211 for the info. I really am looking to get the best CD/SACD playback possible with my Denon. Does musical design mod anything or are they particular about the products they modify. The website is not clear, or easy to navigate. What did you actually end up buying from these guys? what were the results?

They will mod anything. But you should call john and discuss what you want.I have not used his service yet but after I move to N.C.and get enough money saved my cdp is going to be shipped to them for a complete overhaul.New transport, laser, and some mods to the output stage. And some new WBT RCAs jacks.(silver)
