Excellent condition. This was part of my "rarely used" living room systerm. That room was updated to Blu-ray which is the reason for the sale. Non-smoking environment. I have the remote, power cord, and player, but don't have the orignal box. It would be packed and shipped with another one of my many electronics boxes. :)
Updated firmware to version 4.0.
$80 shipped (US lower 48 only)
PM me if you would like photos.
Cheers!

How about $65 shipped? Anyone? Ethancf, too bad we live so far from each other, I would have been glad to take this one away from you as I was desperately hoping to find a second A30 as back-up for mine. I also have 2 A3 players which play fine but the A30 is better at upscaling.
I don't know about you guys in the US but in Canada, many of us are still chasing for what ever movies that are still around (collectible and dirt cheap ;) ). We have a nice long thread on HD DVD content search that is still going on even with the format dead for a while now.
I hope your player will find a good home. By the way, if one wants a good upscaler for their DVD collection you should take this away from Ethancf ;)
Ethan,
Any HD-dvd movies with this?

Really looks like engtaz is a HD DVD connaisseur; HD A2, Xbox add on and now... HD A30! I envy you :D

This is a ridiculously good price for A30. I bought A20 a couple of months ago for about the same price and love it. And A30 is a newer generation player!
You get top notch picture, excellent upconverting, and can even play CDs through it. :p

Aw, Jeez, I didn't expect this to be around this long. I was hoping one you folks would remove my temptation. I'll take it, unless A$$imilated is first in line. PM me with payment info.

Doing good but I tought that little Toshiba jewell would be already gone by now! Don't let me drive over there and take it back to Canada :) I wonder if they charge duty on obsolete gear  Let leave it as that for the record, don't let them know it is a collectible item :p Unfortunately I am only dreaming; the OP is only 4,000Kms away from me!

I have this player as well as my pioneer Blu ray. I like the upconversion of this player better than the Pio. I think the HD format is every bit as good as Blu ray. I think that this an awesome player at an awesome price.

Hi All...it was actually sold on the AVS forum this morning. Sorry.Good for you Ethancf! Someone at AVS also got a good deal!
Good news.
I have that player myself, great upconversion of SDVD...nice HD-picture, player decodes HD-sound formats. Lots of HD-DVDs around...still, no one knows what to do with them so Technokid is right; even in the U.S. you can get some good buys on these older discs. Of course, I'm also running a PS3. Was sorry to see Toshiba lose the format war.
