Speakers mount installation template. It would be easier for us to download templates and print on piece of paper to install mount speakers. It will give people opporunity to download and install cables for their home before buying speakrs online.
Templates should include speakers hole position and size of speakers such as vm 10, RTi a3, FXI, etc...
Whatcha guys think??? Good idea?
Example pic, sorry for bad pic upload,

This is definitely a great idea. Good online service before or after market.

You are correct but we would have to zoom in for actual size, they should just seperate template from manual to its own "Installation" pdf file. People would want actual size not guessing when zooming on manual.
If i dont have product in hand, how can i know actual size /messurement to drill hole if i have to zoom. (not sure if manual will actual let me print zoomed picture, i believe it would just print whole manual page not single picture?)
Polk should offer actual installation template without any zoom on pdf. If i had to guess from that manual, there are possiblity we will get wrong messurement and ruin wall by drilling or whatsoever. Accurate Template is important to me and would make my installation easier and accurate.

It will give people opporunity to download and install cables for their home before buying speakrs online. We have to go back to the above statement agian and the accuracy concern. Fine if part of the user mabual but as pointed out it must be actual scale form, printable and one must be able to print or save the template individually. This is good servicing, I am convinced providing such tools to consumers will entice good sales. A company can not solely rely on manufacturering a good products, simple litlle things like this that will ease the life of consumer can make the difference between product A or product B. I definitely thing this is some that should implemented.
CaligulaPolk, the fact that people read you and do not reply doesn't mean they do not agree. Most people's speakers are probably installed at this point and funny thing with human beings, they'll respond to present concerns, not so much to past (they forget) and very seldom/rarely to furure concerns. They don't even realize it eventually affect them. People will look at the post but will only respond if they are affected at the present time only.
Cheers!

Silence............Sometimes silence is much preferable than negativity comments when people aren't concerned. Better a post with few positive comments than horrified people pounding their emotional "but..." comments :D
