View Full Version : [Help Needed] Sony STR DA2400ES

I need help in finding a new 7.1 receiver for my Polk RTi system.

My set up includes:

Fronts: RTi 5's
Center: CSi A4
Back: Rti A1's
Sides: Rti A3's

In the past, I've had good luck with Sony receivers. Accordingly, the 100w Sony STR DA2400ES receiver looks like a reasonable choice. However, I'd like to have the benefit of your collective experience before proceeding further. Please tell me if there are better choices available.

Many people here prefer Onkyo and Harmon Kardon for Polk speakers. I personally do not own one, but I'm sure someone could point you in the right direction for a great price. Also, check out the selling section of the forum to find some great deals. I know somebody is selling I believe a Onkyo 805.

While I don't own one the HK sound goes very well with RTi speakers and it would get my vote. They (HK) also rate their wattage realistically, you will get what they specify. Unlike some other manufacturers.
