outlaw 950 pre/pro. I have the remote. no major blemishes I can see.

great pre pro, about 95% of the sound quality of the 990 for the fraction of the price. Dolby, DTX, and a bunch of stuff I dont remember. want to go seperates on the cheap, here's your pre pro.

get some used amps on ebay and you got a set up that will smoke all but the multi thousand receivers (and I'm saying that just to be kind to the multi thousand dollar receiver owners :D)

This is a great pre/pro. Would be a great setup with the Acurus amp also for sale here;). I've always been a fan of Outlaw and the 950 is a great piece of equipment.

great deal! i have a 950 running 3 parasound hca-800II's and a yamaha mx-1000 into KEF's and the sound is tremendous. using a hdmi from the blu-ray to plasma so no worries there. really nice unit, someone is going to get a great deal!

Any one care to comment on what differences I might expect replacing my Sony ES AVR with this? I'm sure the HT experience is phenomenal. What about 2 channel audio?

i run my creek cd player/sony es tuner/sony es vcr(!) through it also and they all sound and look great!

I replaced my sony str-da5es with an outlaw 950 and B&K amp. It is night and day with home theater. Honestly I do very little 2 channel listening so I can't comment on that. But I can say, I was worried about getting rid of the 5ES and have had not one regret doing it.

Thanks Shawn. That is great to hear. I am going ahead with purchasing this and entering the world of true separates. Now I have to save my $$ to purchase either a 7 channel amp or another 2 channel amp to add to my Adcom plus another set of rear speakers.........

yikes, further than the drive i made to carlos' for the salamander..

either way woulda been nice to get into 2 channel more seriously, i now see someone else is interested in the piece, good luck on the sale
