Sunfire TGP-4 at $500... Good Deal?

The guy's post just deleted his post for some reason when I inquired about it. Maybe he thought I would buy it when I was just asking... he does say it's available and it's in like new condition. It also sounds like he's desparate to sell. But I already said I would probably take it at $500, so I dunno if I can lower the price on him.

You know what? I'm going to try to haggle him down anyways. Lol. We shall see what he says.

I think $500 for the TGP 4 is not a bad deal if it's not the deal of the year. I saw TGP 3 goes for around 400 and TGP 5 around 800-1000 range. I am not sure what's the main difference between TGP 3 and 4 is but I guess $100 seems justifiable.

Agon has 2's and 3's for more.

Only problem is... they aren't selling.

tgp5 has HDMI 1.1, and the others dont support hdmi at all. I am certain there are other differences but this is th efirst that comes to mind. To bad the seller changed his mind

No I mean the ones on Agon aren't selling. The seller was going to sell to me, but I decided to haggle him down. So we will see what happens.

sorry to bust your bubble on this, but I smell fraud here very strongly... the same seller is listing a tgp-5 for 900, about 40% less than they are worth. The ONLY way a guy has two similar processors is if he is a dealer, and if he is a dealer, he knows what they are worth. If he is not a dealer then he is a scammer.
Just be careful on this one...
