Sure you can, probbably is the best way to handle two subs, you must carefully adjust the phase control therwise you may not hear any difference or improvement of your bass.

Not sure how wide the base of the sub tube is. It *may* be larger than your M&K.

It's about 20" in diameter. If you place it on a hard smooth surface, it may bounce around a bit. The fix is to use 3M polyurethane feet (available either through SVS or Parts Express). They make the baseplate a little squishy, but it keeps the sub from moving around.

On a carpeted surface, it's not an issue - even on most smooth surfaces it's not an issue. On slippery laminate, it's definitely an issue.

The reactive forces from the driver are quite strong, and the addition of the amplifier on one side of the enclosure throws the concentricity of the forces off the vertical axis and introduces a horizontal component to the force vector and the sub can "walk" at high volumes.

Wouldn't want it to "walk the plank" right off the edge of your M&K. :-)

LOL! No we wouldnt, Im pending on whether to get one or not - If I do, it'll be an extra to get. Im running into one big problem, I need to upgrade my computer (its my next in line) then i gotta save for a car audio stereo, and to fix up my dad's truck when it is in my posession. We'll see how the cards play and the dices roll

Sid, I think you're approaching a plan a day here. What happened to getting the Adcom into play?

BTW... nice system pix and love the quotes...
