I'm looking to roll some used NOS tubes into my Rogue Audio 90 watt tube amp.
I'd like to try some RCA's, Telefunken, Bugle Boys or GE's.
I'm looking for a killer deal on a matched pair.
Also interested in quad KT88 Tung sol or KT90 EH power tubes.
Thanks,
Ernie

Ok I'm good to go now.
A friend let me borrow a bunch of different brands to try and I also got a couple offers from Polkies to sell their tubes.
Thanks!

Have you tried talking to your local Pro music shop? They usually have the hook up for tubes since a lot of pro gear use tunes. 12ax7 tubes in the professional world are used for preamps.

There are a lot of new production 12AX7 at Guitar Center. Give those a try first. Then go for the pricey NOS RCA, Mullards and Tele's from the '50's.

I have a quad of Genalex Gold Lion KT88's ( approx 20 hours), A quad of Acoustic Research / Tung Sol 6550's ( approx 60 hours), 3 barely used KT90 EH's ( approx 4 hours) ( I broke one and a matched quad can easily be made if you contact the guy I buy from)
I also have 12ax7's like you are asking for, but Like Mr. Daniels said, "they aint cheap". I'll need to look thru the heap and find the 12ax7's. I just rolled a few in a test I did with a Jolida JD9 Phono Pre but put them away...somewhere???? But Mr. Daniels is up first.

Send me a PM with a quote for the used quad Tung Sol 6550's and the test results, if you have a tube tester. thanks
