Just fyi...since apparently you didn't see the notice when you got him...he's a cat. Uselessness is a given.

;)

Great pic of him, though.

My female cat, Scout, just turned 15 last week. The boy, Tiggy, is 18 months and is a freak of nature and the most talkative cat I've ever owned but really cool. I've had a couple dozen over the years. The wife and I used to rescue them from the pound. We'd pick the one's that were docile and tell them to call us if they weren't adopted within two days of euthanasia. We'd find homes for them amongst friends, co-workers and neighbors. Before we had kids we normally had 4-5 permanent resident felines. I love that they are "useless"(though I'd say they are just independent), though Scout does become quite vocal when she detects something out of the norm, in or out of the house. We got her after she was separated from her mother at approximately 3-4 weeks. I fed her with an eye dropper for over a month before she took to kitty food and water. Other than losing most of her jumping ability, she's still quite healthy and can put the very lively boy in his place when required.

Have fun at the Masters. I'm watching Lefty and Tiger making a serious run in HD.

Scout's on the left. Yes, she was named after Scout from "To Kill a Mockingbird"

A Cute Cat for sure! I have a black and white cat too. I don't think cats are at all useless. Cats are very alert species to the surroundings they are in.

In you end up in the unfriendly environment, do as a Cat do - piss, walk on and run. :D

Well....Milo since that pic has become a 17lb lard butt and gets lazier by the day.
This May he will be 3.

Here is a coupla shots from when He was tiny enough to sleep in a Family sized Tissue box.
SERIOUSLY I thought we lost Him and that's where we found him sound asleep. :D

So, the SPCA recently became No-Kill (meaning they have a huge waiting list for people trying to surrender their pets). My GF and I were considering getting another cat as a playmate for Yoda (pictured earlier in the thread), so we decided to go looking today.

Came home with this one, who the GF has named Duck. Better than the name on the forms, which was Carmilla...

She has serious issues with open spaces right now, but it's the first day we've had her. According to the paperwork, she's 9 months old.

....if there's a god in heaven ........ (meant in a non-religious way) ...... I understand that cats can respond to higher frequencies than humans .... although they have trouble distinguishing between Denons, Onkyos, Krells, and ..... Emotiva amps. :o

Nice retrieval, nadams; looking at "Duck's" picture, though ..... uhm ..... Duck isn't fluent in German, is she ? ;)

Duck is adorable. She will be just fine once she gets over the trauma of being moved around. Cats really HATE traveling & having to get used to a new environment. Once she knows that she is safe she will be taking over the joint!

we got our cat neo about 3 years ago when he was a kitten.
he loves talking to the birds and squirrels outside
and loves playing fetch with a toy mouse or a twist-tie just about anytime, but especially when you're on the pooper.
