Hey Everyone :D

I am wondering about how to get a good crisp bass sound from my subs without all that BUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ noise in most rap songs. Its really upsetting :(

My Gain goes from: 0.4A - 6.5

LFE Goes from: 40hz - 240hz

They are Knobs :)

Its a Pioneer GM-7200 - 800W Mono Amp

and I have 2x Kenwood 12" Subs

And my car is a Stock CIVIC DX-G 2007 Coupe 2DR (Stock Deck)

I was wondering the best LFE and Frequency for your usual rap music, so you get a nice crisp pound sound without the dragging on.

1. The sub amp gain should be at about 12'oclock

2. The LPF should be at 60-80hz

Try above and see if its better.

Arun's starting point for the filter is good. Let me know if you have a multimeter, this is a useful tool for setting your gains. If you do not have access to a multimeter, doing it by ear will work. Turn all controls to their center position, get a good cd, turn your gain down, turn up the volume on the hu to 75% of max. Now star turning the gain up till you begin to hear distortion, at this point back up your gains just a tad till the distortion is gone. You should be pretty good at that point.
