Bass enhasment !!

Hello fellow audio enthusiasts,

I have been using the origional DBX 120x subharmonic synthesizer now since 1984.
This unit has a gain (volumn) control plus sub and low freq. level controls.It runs through the tape in/out of the receiver or preamp in your system.I use it at line level to the subs with thunderous results.It will even drive the mains (too much for me) when you activate the tape monitor.For extreme bass! this unit delivers.I"m a bass freak, to me this $300.00( back then)has never failed to please.By the way ,it also has a bypass button.

I had fun with mine for a while when I first had it, but have not used this functionality for many years. I used it as an active crossover for a period and now use something else. If I had a monitor loop on the preamp, I might think of adding the 3BXIII to the system for use when needed.
