Hi!

I want to make a box for 2 subwoofers MM2084 8"
I think dual sealed box is the better choice, isn't it?

Every sub must be in a seperate volume or I can mount the 2 subs in the same volume?

Thanks and sorry for my english, I'm french :)

If both subs are being driven by the same amplifier then you can build a common chamber enclosure for both subs. the recommended sealed enclosure volume for both subwoofer is .75 to 1.0 cubic feet. For an exteneded bass response and a "Q" of 0.707 the sealed enclosure volume using minimal damping material is 1.55 cubic feet. You can reduce the internal volume down to .99 cubic feet if the enclosure is heavily damped.

so for seperate boxes you would divide by 2? also what is meant by damped? u mean like poly-fil or dynamat?

thanks for your answers ;)

but finally, I will install only one subwoofer :o
because of my amp, I have only 1x230rms 4ohms, and I don't have enough money to replace it :(

so another question, the recommanded volume for a sealed enclosure for one mm2084 is 9.9l (0.35cu ft3), but I must remove the subwoofer volume or not?
and if I want to mount it inversed? the volume will be reduced but how many?

Another question :D what crossover frequency do you recommand for this subwoofer? I think 80Hz @12db?

Many thanks!!! (and sorry for my english :o )
