I"m going with a 3 MOMO 12's in my setup in a single box. I was thinking of mounting 2 of them inside of the box and mounting the last one the opposite way. My question is, if i decide to this, how much air space should I subtract from the box to compensate for the sub being mounted on the ouside? And does mounting on the outside have any effects on the sub or the sound, or is it purely for looks? Also where can I get more information of the some of the specs or my subs. I know the general ones, but I'd like to learn about the Qms, Qes, Qts, Vas and the rest of them. Thanks.

Also, The website says they carry a 3 year warranty, but my manual only mentions a 1 year warranty. Can you clear that up for me Kim?

Allerick,
To get the best possible performance I would recommend
constructing a 3 chambered .88 cubic feet sealed enclosure.
This will also help make the enclosure more rigid and less prone to resonance. This internal volume does include the driver displacement. Fill each chamber with about 1/2 of a pound of polyfill.
Mounting the woofers on the outside will not effect the sound
since these woofers are just reproducing low bass frequencies.
If they were midrange to higher frequencies, then yes it would effect the sound when mounted in this configuration. Just make sure to invert the phase of the inverted woofer.
A good "speaker" learning tool is a book by Vance Dickason called
"The Loudspeaker Cookbook". You can buy this book from the folks at Madisound or Antique Electronic Supply. It sells for around $35.00. This book goes into extended detail about everything in a speaker. It's good reading material!!!
We have extended the warranty period on all of our MOMO speakers to a 3 Year Warranty!!! So ignore the stated "1 year warranty" that is printed in the manual.

Happy Box Building!!
