I have a pair of SDA2's that were being used as surround speakers but are now just sitting there. I’m taking a last minute road trip next Monday and the car is empty going out so I thought I’d see if there’s any interest along my route. I know shipping speakers is a major PITA so here’s a possible chance for free delivery. General travel route will be Northwest Florida to Missouri / Kansas City. See below for more details.
SDA2 (1986), Vinyl, SL2000 – The drivers and grills are in great shape. The cabinets have a couple nicks after 23 years but nothing ugly. Everything works fine. The crossovers were rebuilt in January 2008 (Solen, Mills, Polys removed). Binding posts have been replaced and another set added for use as an alternative to the IC cable (the IC connection works also). A 25 ft. IC cable is included. Delivery – I’m a little flexible but essentially am traveling from Pensacola / Mobile (FL) to Kansas City. Normally I would go through parts of Alabama, Mississippi, a little bit of Tennessee & Arkansas, and a bunch of Missouri. I could also hit east Texas or Oklahoma as an alternative. No, I do not drive a white van: simply trying to offer someone a little convenience (and a nice set of SDA’s). I’m leaving Monday of next week so details would have to be worked out in the next couple of days.
Payment when the speakers are delivered is fine given the unusual delivery arrangement. Right now the trip is pretty much 100% but you know how those things go. It may fall through and get rescheduled but for now it's on. I do need the car empty coming back so serious inquiries only please.
Of course they are available here in Pensacola if you’re close-by.
