Another one...
This guy is selling Wharfedale Valdus 500 for $600 each when the MSRP for them is only $1000 for the pair.
http://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/ele/1178680743.html
I own M70s/CS2/M30s and I still have but no longer use the PSW12 and an Onkyo 605 in that set up. Now with the exception of the 605 which I bought as a demo for 225.00. Everything else was purchased New let me add the price up for you--sale price that is.
760 for the all Polk M series with sub! Plus 225 for the Onkyo...that's 985 NEW because the Demo Onkyo carried that full 2 year warranty. Now if I were going to sell all that stuff I'd definitely have to take a loss on my original price. I'd say 250 for a used set of M70s, CS2 and M30s 150, Polk 12" sub 100. (Bought it for 200). That's 500 for the speakers 'used' and maybe 100-150 for the Onkyo? 600+ decent price. BUT I'M NOT SELLING. You're right 1400 is over 400 what I paid originally.
Home theater in a box eat your heart out. Towers for less than 1000 with a receiver!
Guy needs a Price-check in Aisle #2!!!

I am with cnh on this one. I have a very similar setup, with the exception of a PSW125 and I paid about $1,000 for my 70's, 40's CS2 and PSW125 all with 10 year warranty. I would steer clear of that guy unless he is willing to come down quite a bit in the price.

Scam.
Scam.OK, so ... you might as well tell us straight up: what's gonna be for sale and when?
http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/search.php?searchid=6827948
You should understand that it is considered quite rude to come in here, join up, get your post count up with one line (sometimes one word), useless responses, and then post gear for sale. It is also usually not very conducive to actually making the sale.
If you have a genuine interest in audio, then welcome! Hang around for a bit and get to know the people here. Many will go out of their way to help you. If you have gear you want to sell, by asking the right questions and doing some searches for existing answers to similar topics, you will be able to learn how to make the right choices for any replacements you may have in mind. You will also be able to guage how much interest your current gear is likely to attract. If you've had the gear for a long time, then waiting a few extra weeks (at least) will not change much in the grand scheme of things. It will also help others decide whether or not they want to do business with you, and thus greatly improve your chances for a successful sale in a timely manner. If, for some reason, you are desperate to sell now, then eBay or craigslist.org may well be your best option, but you could still post here within a short time period, if you explain yourself adequately and adjust the price (down, of course) accordingly to compensate for the big rush.
It's a bit like dating, really. If you ask for s€x in the first sentence of introduction to a new girl, she's most likely to slap you in the face, or even tell you to DIY (as in "go fook yourself") if she is feeling especially inconvienced by your hastiness. The same applies here.
Good luck, and apologies if I have seemed rather abrupt (I'm a tough first date, but I'm worth it!).
